Sticky waxed string to make all sorts of curious creations and marvellous models

All manner of curious creatures and amazing models can be made from these unique wax coated strings. Once warmed briefly by the heat from your hands, the strings become pliable and sticky, so they can be squeezed together, bent and twisted into lots of different three-dimensional shapes. The string is provided in a variety of colours and four domed polystyrene shapes are included to make a base for insects and animals. With the addition of googly eyes, lots of appealing characters can be made by following the detailed instructions.

Addictive fun
Bought this as a fun present for an adult, great to pass the time and you can build some really out there things. Would definitely buy again.

Fun Craft Item
I bought this to amuse my grandchildren during the holidays and it was a great success. They made lots of different things with the sticky string and used it over and over.

Non sticky sticky strings
They are called sticky strings, they do feel sticky but they don't actually stick together. The purpose of buying this was for my 5 year old tobe able to make shapes on his own but the constant 'mum, it doesnt work' was a put off as the strings dont stick together.

Very good for 10+
This product is fantastic for children over 10 years of age. can be slightly fiddly at times but once you make afew you can't stop! Would reccomend this product to all!
