Airfix Spitfire

Airfix has been producing scale plastic model kits for a mass market since 1952. It all began with a promotional model made for Ferguson tractors which proved to be so popular that it was subsequently sold as a toy. To make the toy cheaper and increase sales it began to be sold as a kit to build at home with detailed instructions, and thus the enormously popular and successful Airfix kits arrived on the market. Fathers and grandfathers will have fond memories of building Airfix with their children in many enthralling designs. These classic kits come with acrylic paints, good quality brushes, poly cement (glue) and very detailed instructions for construction.
