So as long as the sun is shining the Rainbow Maker starts working immediately. The system of cogs attached to the solar panel slowly rotates the Swarovski crystal which catches the sunlight, creating constantly changing patterns of dazzling rainbow-coloured light all around the room (similar to a disco mirror ball). The more powerful the sun, the faster the crystal turns and the more luminous the rainbow colours become. Even the box it comes in is very pretty!
