For many the wrong side of fifty this is the favourite and best-remembered 'big toy': real clay bricks, real 'cement', real houses to build! Admire them, improve them, for weeks, months if you like. Then soak them in water, and, miraculously, after a few hours, the bricks come apart ready to be cleaned and used again. Ceramic bricks - totally safe and 'soluble mortar', wooden roof-bases, tough plastic doors and windows, detailed instructions and serious architectural plans are all included. This is a real old-fashioned-values toy which encourages and develops many skills, will entertain and educate all sorts of ages and mentalities and lasts forever. 7/21/2008: WOW! When I received this as a gift I thought it was amazing! Not only have you got real bricks, real cement and a handy instruction booklet, but you can also make what ever you want! I have recently started a replica of my house! (Smaller scale!)

6/8/2008: Real Bricks ! A fantastic bit of kit. I had the pleasure of playing with a similar set when I was a lad that belonged to my uncle. Lego never did anything for me after that. I have bought each different set as a collection for my Grandchildren to learn with, excellent. I recommend this for any young engineering brain.

5/26/2008: Living near Nottingham, my nephew is obsessed with Robin Hood, so when I saw this, I knew I had to get it for him! I envisioned he would try to recreate Nottingham Castle, and I wasn't wrong! We didn't do a bad job and I was impressed by the ease and the lack of mess involved. It kept him quiet for hours and was a huge hit. It even beat his precious Nintendo! I would recommend this to anyone.
