An amazing curiosity. When the sealed bag is opened, the cat-shaped soap starts to grow silky hair

A piece of high-quality soap from a leading German cosmetic manufacturer, safe and in compliance with all regulations. A detailed sculpture of a bald cat, it comes in a sealed bag inside a box. When exposed to air, it begins to grow hair which after a few days becomes long and silky. So it remains, a source of wonder, until it is used for washing, when it reverts for ever to its hairless form.

And that's not all, for after much use a tiny plastic mouse is found embedded inside it. The hirsute cat is such an appealing figure that we suspect that it often remains permanently on display without so much as ever getting its feet wet.
