It doesn’t throw out huge clouds of ash or rivers of molten lava, which is fortunate because most people don’t appreciate that sort of thing in their kitchen. What it does do is teach children the theory behind volcanoes and the chemical reactions as well as allowing them to create their own mini eruption. Everything is provided in the kit apart from a few drops of malt vinegar which should be easily available. Supports the National Curriculum.
