A clever invention for those who like to be lulled to sleep with soothing melodies. The special pillow has a built in speaker and connects (via a 3.5mm jack) to any music source such as Ipod, mp3 player, cd player etc. The volume can then be adjusted so the snoozing music lover can listen to their favourite lullabies without disturbing anyone sleeping, even right next to them, and with no need for headphones.

With potential to help insomniacs or act as an alarm clock that doesn’t wake sleeping partners. Music device not included.

5/3/2008: I love this pillow! I am generally awake all through the night (not kidding!), every night, but listening to the Final Fantasy VII soundtrack through my Sound Asleep Pillow got me a couple of hours sleep, which was nice. Obviously not so good with Rage Against the Machine playing through it, still - worth every penny.
