9/6/2008: When a good friend of mine sent me a lovely bottle of Barolo for Christmas it arrived trapped Houdini-like in this contraption. After a short struggle I freed the vino and the puzzle is currently providing cruel torture to Sue who has yet to solve the mystery. A fantastic gift and much more fun than handing a bottle over in a shiny bag, top marks.

8/31/2008: When I bought a lovely bottle of Barolo for a good friend of mine, I couldn’t just wrap it or put it in a bag (that’s not my style!), so I locked it up in the amazing Wine Bottle Puzzle. She’s a smart girl and loves a challenge, so she managed to eventually free the bottle from its wooden “prison” and you know the wine somehow seems to taste even better when you have to work for it!
