BUILD WITH MINIATURE Real Terracotta BRICKS! The Return of a Marvellous Toy from the 1950s (and earlier), that can be demolished and re-built endlessly. For many the wrong side of 60 this is the favourite and best remembered ‘big toy’: real clay bricks, real ‘cement’, real houses to build! Admire them, improve them, for weeks, months if you like. Then soak them in water, and, miraculously, after a few hours, the bricks come apart ready to be cleaned and used again. Ceramic bricks - totally safe, soluble mortar, wooden roof-bases, tough plastic doors and windows, detailed instructions and serious architectural plans are all included. This is a real old-fashioned-values toy which encourages and develops many skills, will entertain and educate all sorts of ages and mentalities, and lasts forever. For age six years and up. There are three full kits; the biggest is the Universal Brick Set (top left) which comes in a sturdy easy-storage tub complete with chipboard base, bowl, loads of mortar, 240 bricks and plans to build five different houses. The Special Brick Set (bottom left) also comes in a tub and would make a good starter set, and once again everything, except a base board is included. If your interest is historical, or if you just have grand romantic ideas the Castle Brick Set (left) offers something different, and even more challenging

    56 years ago, my next door neighbour's son had something very similar. The bricks were no more than 1cm long and it took 1,00s to make just one house. He had enough to build three! I have never seen the like since until now. I hope my grandson loves this as much as I yearned for that then!

    i got this for myself and it is great me and my sister play with it all the time.i think it would be a good gift for an archaeologist or a builder. i would recomend this to a friend its fab

    My son bought me this set and it’s fantastic! Everything you need is included, all the miniature perfectly formed bricks, the cement, a mini trowel, mixing bowl and even the windows, doors, gate and garage door too. Oh and it has base boards and beautiful little roof shingles as well. I set about building my first house and was amazed at how straightforward and how strong the building was. This will give any budding builder, hobbyist or interested youngster hours of fun and what’s more, even though the house is very strong when built, if you change your mind you can very simply dismantle it and start over. Well priced as you get bags and bags of bricks and a large bag of cement. Once you get building it’s hard to stop and with a little imagination you can build anything you like!
