One of the best known toys from the 60s. In case anyone can't remember; the horizontal and vertical knobs direct a continuous black line, allowing simple doodles and, with practice and patience, complex stylised Etch-a-Sketch designs to be drawn on the screen. To erase and start again the screen is simply shaken. This is the large original version. 24.5cm

    I love these, there so much fun! My friends get mad when i'm near a etch-a-sketch because i wont stop using them! and i get frustrated because i can't use them, but if you possess the amazing skill to be able to use these, i brought one of these for my mom and she wont stop using it! Love this toy, everyone should own one!

    Isn't this the perfect retro gift? Whether you're giving it to a grown-up who already loves it, a quirky arts-loving student, a talented budding artist or a kid who hasn't a clue, it's sure to get the whole family gathered around, back-seat driving to create an Etch-a-Sketch masterpiece. Totally classic!

    Oh man i've missed these!!!! It brings me right back to being seven and sitting on the stairs trying to make the line go round and round in a swirly pattern because i could never control it!!! I spent ages in the shop looking at this until my parents got the hint and bought me one - now i'm old enough to buy my own!!!!!
