We try hard to keep a closed mind when shown ‘hot-sellers’ in the USA, but this one was irresistible. It is, allegedly, how folk predict weather in Maine. (Where’s that? Top right, almost Canada, we’re told.) Tack it up outside, and it will bend down when foul weather is approaching, then up again for fine. Some 38cm long and very much ‘hand crafted’ it comes on a card with “here’s what other people say about their weathersticks” testimonials which are a joy in themselves.
