For many the wrong side of 60, this is the favourite and best-remembered 'big toy': real clay bricks, real 'cement', real houses to build! Admire them, improve them, for weeks, months if you like. Then soak them in water, and, miraculously, after a few hours, the bricks come apart ready to be cleaned and used again.

Ceramic bricks - totally safe, soluble mortar, wooden roof-bases, tough plastic doors and windows, detailed instructions and serious architectural plans are all included. This is a real old-fashioned-values toy which encourages and develops many skills, will entertain and educate all sorts of ages and mentalities, and lasts forever.

For age six years and up. The set comes in a sturdy easy-storage box complete with chipboard base, bowl, loads of mortar, 240 bricks and plans to build five different houses, but of course many more variations are possible for budding architects to build to their own plans.
